Overview
“In A Wisconsin Christmas Pie (also called “A Cherry Pie Christmas”), pastry chef Emma Parker (Leclerc) returns from Chicago to her family’s cherry orchard in Door County, Wisconsin, for Christmas. She learns the farm is on the brink of being sold to developers. This LOVEly story takes place in the REAL LIFE locations of Wisconsin’s beautiful Door County. Known for its Cherry Orchards, the story was truly inspired by these small-town locations that you can visit in Door County, Wisconsin.
When you watch the movie, you will fall in love with the cozy vibes and beautiful views at the Hillside Waterfront Hotel. The hotel, used for several scenes, including the Christmas party, is located in Ephraim, WI. Known as “The Crown Jewel of Door County,” The Hillside Waterfront Hotel has been serving the community since 1865. The real-life Lautenbach’s Market, Winery & Cider Co. plays the role of the family orchard in jeopardy. Turns out, when you come to visit Lautenbach’s, you can find delicious, local, homemade goods, as Emma Parker (Leclerc) implies, will be the business plan for Orchard’s future.
